Twins Luca & Sacha

Another fun filled twins photo shoot today.  Sunshine Coast parents Sarah and Koen read about the A World of  Twins book in the local paper and jumped online and registered their twins Luca and Sacha to become a part of history in this wonderful black and white photography book.

From the moment I entered their home I felt welcomed.  When Sarah introduced me to their twins Luca and Sacha I was greeted with a BIG ‘high five’ and warm smiles from ear to ear.  I knew then this was going to be a fun morning.

We played in the garden on their bikes and did some ‘Simon Says’ games to ease them into being photographed.  Then we played around in their rooms with their toys.  Luca loves Shrek and Bob the Builder and he even sang a few songs for me.  In Sacha’s room we played with the bouncing balls which was so much fun to watch…they ended up rolling on the floor in fits of laughter.  We got some lovely family shots as well as some individual photos.

I asked Sarah and Koen, as parents of twins…what were some of the unique moments that they experienced?    “Witnessing Luca and Sacha’s  first smile and acknowledgment of one another, which we captured on camera, was just priceless.  Also the physical similarities between Sacha and her mum and Luca and his dad are very striking.  Today, it’s fantastic witnessing their big personalities emerging, their humour and clear remarks.”

This is one of my favourite photos taken today, Luca and Sacha on their bouncing balls playing up to the camera!
